Registration is open for our 2027 building week in Jadán, a rural parish about 45 minutes from the center of Cuenca. The trip runs July 23 to August 2, 2027.
This year the emphasis is bathrooms. Local leaders in Jadán, with the parish government and Priscila Bonete, our project leader there, pick the homes, and a maestro and a project manager direct the work on the sites. You don’t need construction experience or Spanish. You can stay with a host family in Jadán or at a hotel in Cuenca; family stays are limited.
The cost is $1,700, and a $500 non-refundable deposit holds your place. Registration closes April 1, 2027.
